Daniel “Dan” Honig is the Founder and President of High Fortitude, an Austin, Texas–based operating group he co-founded with business partner Giacomo Iacoangeli.
Building on Dan’s experience founding Discount Fence USA, the partners began expanding through acquisitions and growth across Texas, including San Antonio and Houston. High Fortitude supports businesses in construction and field services, with a focus on leadership, operations, and customer experience.
In April 2026, High Fortitude acquired Texas Fence, a fencing, gate, and access-control provider serving Greater Houston since 2003. The acquisition followed Discount Fence USA’s expansion into Houston in May 2025.

Dan founded Discount Fence USA in 2014 after gaining hands-on experience in operations, team leadership, and business development. He and his team built the fence and deck business around craftsmanship, customer service, and systems that could support growth.
Discount Fence USA is now part of the High Fortitude portfolio. Its expansion from Central Texas into additional markets helped establish the foundation for the group’s wider Texas presence.
